LiKeisha has over 21 years of sales/use tax experience. Prior to joining DMA, LiKeisha was a Senior Consultant with a national consulting firm, where she negotiated large, complex sales/use tax refunds with state agencies. She also analyzed state tax audits to reduce sales/use tax assessments. Additionally, LiKeisha worked with a major transportation company for over five years in its state and local tax department. Her responsibilities included advising compliance personnel on state and local reporting requirements and providing tax advice to various departments throughout the company. LiKeisha began her career in the sales/use tax field as a Tax Auditor with the Mississippi State Tax Commission, for which she independently performed compliance audits and refund verifications for a variety of industries including manufacturing, construction, retail and gaming.

She customizes DMA’s approach to client service through insightful opinions on a range of taxability issues, client representation before state tax authorities, and audit strategies. Tracy’s extensive, hands-on state experience supports DMA’s tax services to best solve clients’ specific needs. Tracy is skilled in researching, analyzing, and interpreting complex tax issues, rulings, and court decisions which allows her to provide a customized approach to support and train clients’ tax and purchasing personnel.
