Jack Stewart, CMI, Sr. Manager with Clarus Partners, isn’t just a lifelong golf nut. He’s particularly interested in hickory golf which is the art of restoring and playing with hickory shafted golf clubs. Jack approaches his 20+ year career in indirect taxes in much the same unique way. He tends to be the one to approach with out-of-the-norm scenarios which need creative yet sound solutions. Jack’s solutions have impacted refund reviews, audit defenses, taxability matrices, nexus studies, voluntary disclosure negotiations and settlements, representation of clients before various state administrative boards, development of CPE sales and use tax classes as well as impacting state/county taxing regulations. 

With a BA in History from Rollins College, Jack went on to obtain a Post Baccalaureate in Accounting from Robert Morris University. Jack’s career includes working with two of the Big Four firms.
