Mike L. Griffin is a Senior Equal Opportunity Specialist within the IRS Office of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion, Civil Rights Unit. For more than 15 years, Mike has worked in areas of equal employment opportunity, fair housing and lending, equity and accessibility, alternative dispute resolution, reasonable accommodations, and language access. Prior to joining the EDI Civil Rights Unit, Mike served in various roles as a Human Resources Specialist, Federal Housing Investigator, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) Investigator, and EEO Counselor. He currently serves on the Limited English Proficiency Committee of the Title VI Interagency Working Group. Additionally, Mike is a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He has a bachelor’s degree in political science and is currently working on his master’s degree in organizational leadership.
