Course Description

This course is designed to equip participants with the essential skills and knowledge required to conduct effective internal investigations into unethical financial practices. The focus will be on identifying red flags, understanding legal considerations, and implementing best practices in internal investigations. 

Learning Objectives:


  • Define the fundamental concepts of unethical financial behavior, including the various forms, causes, and typical profiles of individuals who engage in such practices

  • Identify key indicators of unethical financial practices and activities within an organization

  • Outline the procedural and legal aspects of conducting effective internal investigations including evidence collection, interviewing techniques, and maintaining confidentiality

  • Recognize how to effectively report findings and recommend corrective actions, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and organizational policies
